Great ways to detox your mind

Whether you are a stay at home mom, CEO or caretaking an aging parent we can all use a mental detox. It's so easy to get caught up in the life, news, mental business, drama, etc. Here are some tips to help you detox your mind.
Turn everything off - phones, computers, tv, music. Just sit. Close your eyes. You could also lay on the ground looking up through the trees.
If you have a smart watch that can guide you through some guided breathing, do it. You'll be surprised at how trying to match the breathing guide will revive you and provide clarity.
Spend time with your closest girlfriends.
Take time for yourself doing something you enjoy; walking, crafting, painting, a candlelight bath.
Clean - ok I know for some this sounds like work, but for many cleaning is relaxing.
Write. You could free-flow write to get all the business out of your head. You could also keep a gratitude journal and write in it daily. This is mood changer.
Get some sleep. None of us get enough and we really underestimate the power of sleep in our lives.
